Abstract

|
This descriptive study was done for the purpose of knowledge of Health education, Disease prevention and Emergency care of the 5th and 6th grades elementary school children.
The date for the study was obtained from 471 students in elementary school in Seoul.
The instrument used for this study was degree´ bf knowledge of Health education, Disease prevention and Emergency care.
Data collation was made from Nov. lth to No. 30th by means of questionnaire.
Data analysis included mean, S. D. percentage, T-test and ANOVA
The results of this study were as follows,
1. The average in degree of Health education is at 1.674, Disease Prevention is at 1.784
and Emergency care is at 2.164.
2. In the relationship between Sex, school and degree of knowledge of Health education are meaningful to the difference. (P=0.025, P= .000).
As a conclusion of this study,
he development of supporting system to health education activities and programs of improvement of school health education is strongly needed from policy making level.
